The best bet is to look at Ron Ziel's "Steel rails to Sunrise" as there are 
pictures of the various LIC terminals in the book. There were different 
terminals associated with time, i.e., before the Penn Station tunnels and a 
fire (ferry service) and after. Also the Central RR of Long Island also had a 
terminal at LIC.
