Maybe nothing happened to the bridge, but locomotives have gotten heavier.

Trainmasters weighed about 375,000 pounds.

The U-boats weighed about 363,600 pounds.

SD70MAC's weigh about 415,000 pounds.

That's 20 tons more than the heavier Trainmasters, nearly 26 tons more than the U-boats!
