Re: (erielack) calendar photo's + trainmaster question



After hiring out as a Towerman in 1965 after the EL merger, I was

subsequently promoted to Assistant Trainmaster - Passenger on

January 16, 1970.Trainmaster in 1970. Although I grew up along the

DL&W, I was hired by the Erie Lackawanna.

As I recall there were no E-L trainmasters [or other officials for thatmatter]only Erie men or DL guys. Anyone hired after the 'merger' had tochoose sides. Most of the east end members on this list picked DL
