Bob,
The Magazine was "The National Provisioner", the article was "Our Great Meat
Kingdom in the West", by Col. John F. Hobbs in the year 1900. I think the
series went 24 separate articles. This is number II. I looked at number III
to see if it continued, but all he did was talk about Ohio farm land. I
didn't pursue future issues. You might want to do that and see if you find
arriving in Chicago.
