Ok, tell us how you doctored up these photos.

Thanks for posting. I'm sure glad this is the real thing. Makes life 
interesting.

It did look to me like each letter was individually placed, and not sprayed 
on from a large stencil. That made the thing suspecious.

I always thought it would be interesting to put together a program on 
odd-ball paint schemes. I have a few. I always collected the earlier stuff, 
pre WWII. If you go before 1920 you really come into a lot of unique Erie 
and DL&W paint schemes. Seems like each shop made up their own.

It would be an interesting thread. Here's one to start it off. Not sure 
where I got it.
