Nope, Bowser molds its cars here in the states and ships them to China for construction. It's pretty mind-boggling that manufacturers can send parts overseas and have them constructed, and taking into account shipping costs, it's STILL cheaper than making it all in the US!

BTW, does anyone have any suggestions for train-related stuff to see in the Seattle, WA area? (prototype OR model). I'm off to there on business tomorrow for the next week-and-a-half, and might have a little free time. Please reply to me directly at paultup_@_comcast.net - thanks!
