(erielack) AND THE TRAIN WILL NOT RUN HERE

VERY SOON!

HO 2 took the last two loaded acid cars to Reheist Chemical today on the
Gladstone Line of NJT.

They will come out, ( probable next Friday?? ) and then at some point in
time the storage cars that have been there for years will come out. At that
point there will be no reason for HO 2 to run on the Morristown Line, other
than to get fuel on the M&E RWY tracks at Morristown, via a tanker truck, now
and then. ( NJT won't allow it on their property)

AS has been the case for the last 27 years the M&E Rwy is constantly trying
to get the remainder of HO2s work. They ran a two business car special over
much, but not all of the territory on Tuesday. This included the Totowa
Industrial Track. Since Reheist, with it's dangerous car charges, was a big
money maker, plus some other factors, I suspect this time it might be it for a NS
job working out of Dover. That's just a personal opinion. Time will tell.
CR and Now NS employees have lived with that hanging over are heads for 27
years since Ben Friedland initially got trackage rights over NJT. He then
initially got the Chester Br work, then the Rockaway Br Work. I out lived it
all for the last 30 years, and am now no longer interested in the one
remaining job at Dover, but as life for T & E people ALWAYS GOES, ( at least on
freight Railroads ) some younger employee with eventually loose a job, and
will be forced to go some where else to work. ( The nearest being 38 miles away.
