RE: (erielack) Photo of EL RS-2 #902



Paul it looks to be on the lead that ran east from bridge 60 past a
bakery building, I think this is the building shown. I want to say
Spaulding Bakery but its been so many years ,May Mr. Schulties will
remember, it sat directly behind the turntable and roundhouse area on
the road that wound around the south side of the shops and went out to
Lackawanna Ave under bridge 60. Sam Weibel

I saw this photo last night, but I was a little baffled - where in
Scranton would this be? It almost looked like Hoboken or Jersey City at
first glance, but I just can't place that tall building in the

The units were a runaway and plowed head-on into an MU, sadly killing
the engineer.
The location of this photo is almost directly beneath the South Salem
St. bridge in Dover.
