Re: (erielack) Mismatched EL HO Train



Bruce;
n Model RR'ing the idea is to have FUN, and you sound like you are!! I mix 
and match and their is great variety in shades , more so on the Erie models, 
two different shades of dark green on AHM-Rivarossi/IHC, a third on 
Walthers,  and The first run of Erie E8's from Proto2000 has a much darker 
dark green than the latest run with sound. Seeing that the Recently released 
PA from P2K matches the OLDER run E8 I'm stumped on why the difference. 
Actually the new model looks more "right" to me, and I thought maybe they 
had input from a society and corrected the paint.  But when I saw the 
current PA I don't know if that theory holds water any more.In any event 2 
E8's and a PA and 11or 12 cars sure looks pretty on the club layout..
