(erielack) Erie Railroad buys two more Oil Electric Locomotives, Plus more catching up

    Guys

Finaly catching up on stuff, while looking for the
Railway Mechanical Engineer Magazine article on the
triplex's for Mr Larabee ( no, I have not forgotten) I
found this one and scanned it, just a blurb but
interesting....

Who was looking for a freight schedule? I have one
from 1942 which I have scanned. How would the group
like me to post it? I have it as JPG's which I can
trim down for email or do you want me to send full
file size. There are 19 pages.

Also in the big RME search I came across a 1927
article on feedwater systems, any interest still
there, or should I move on?

Need Help with two things?

First:

did the Erie have any towers with the call signs....

S D
E J
WC

if so where were those towers and what did they govern

second

The tower in Hammond , IN that is still standing was
that an Erie tower or an Indiana Harbor Belt tower?
