I was there last Thursday night for a film show done by the Working Harbor
Committee: vintage films (1930's - 1960's) showing the harbor - including
a few railroad car floats in use and a glimpse of an OLD DLW switcher, I
think an ALCo HH330.

Yes, it's a real DLW carfloat, but you wouldn't recognize it. The caboose
is Erie Dunmore from 1946.

Closed for the winter, unfortunately. Also a Water Taxi landing, also
closed for the winter.

Or take the 23rd St crosstown bus; it's a free transfer on your
Metro-Card. I went in by PATH from Hoboken so I walked 20 minutes - it
really is a mile from 6th Avenue to the river.

Amen. It even looked interesting after dark, with all the lights in
Jersey City, Hoboken and Weehawken.
