I don't know that they ever got it to 60 MPH; CP did have it at 50 for a couple of years once they got the line fixed up. The trains seem to run about 40 MPH now, at least that's what I run when I'm about even with them-where I can see them. It's probably a lot cheaper and easier to maintain a 40 MPH railroad than 50 or 60.
