(erielack) Secretly Expanded NJT Service?

We rode the 12:11 PM NJT Midtown Direct train to Madison on Sunday to attend the SIA meeting.

I note that approaching Secaucus Junction, the conductor announced that one could change trains for (among others) "The New York and Long Branch" and, [Best of All!] "Service to the Southern Tier."

We almost skipped the SIA meeting to take a Hornell Local but . . .
