By a shuttle do you mean rail (as in RDC) or bus? As far as I know,
nothing like that was proposed. The dilemma is that in order to get
Scranton's political clout to support the venture, rail service has got to
terminate in Scranton. As previously mentioned, the problem with that is
that it drives up the costs and lowers the per mile ridership. A true
Catch-22 situation.

You are correct about a lower ridership projection between Mt. Pocono and
Scranton.
I wonder if the bean counters have looked at the possibility of shuttle
service between the two points. Perhaps that doesn't make much sense and
someone
with more knowledge than I have can address that question.
