Re: (erielack) Holiday Armchair Model Railroading

Alan:

In Vestal there was Vestal Lumber and a coal distributor across the road,
closer to the depot site. I have a book on the history of the Town of
Vestal and will report what I can find. Also, my father-in-law, a lifelong
resident of Vestal until recently moving across the river to Endicott, can
probably add to this.

Towrds Binghamton (near the Town Square Mall) there is a fuel distributor
close to the ROW. Also a gravel pit or asphalt plant (never looked
closely). I don't know if these businesses were around during your time
period, or if they ever had rail service, but you could ad-lib if you can
stand it.
