Re: (erielack) What SP units are EL

The trick is, where will these locomotives go?

MRL has been buying a number of secondhand units from UP. There were 26 at
Garrison, Montana last September--mostly older SD 45s and SD40 variants, but
a few GP 50s. Montana Rebuild Center (the former NP/BN shops in Livingston,
Montana, and a sister Washington company to Montana (and I&M) Rail Link)
acquires a number of older locomotives, rebuilds them, and then lease
locomotives to other roads. They use a paint scheme based on the last
Northern Pacific, and a bucking bronco similar to the State of Wyoming's
"Cowboy State" logo.

I have photos of these LRC units running with former EL unit #3657 (now MRL
#332, there's your EL content).

So my interest is if these units show up in Montana, I want to get photos.
