(erielack) Flange Oilers

Dear Group,
The topic of flange oilers was discussed quite some time ago. 
Unfortunately, it seems to be among the old messages  that I lost in a
mail crash.

So, were flange oilers in wide use on the various Erie and DL&W routes? 
I seem to recall something about them being used on the Delaware
Division (Hancock? Deposit?), but not sure about elsewhere.
