(rshsdepot) Art in the Age of Steam at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, KC

 Greetings!

I am the media relations officer for The Nelson-Atkins Museum
of Art and on Sept. 13 we will open an exhibition that I think would be of
interest to your readers and members. "Art in the Age of Steam" will
show how railroads affect the work of artists and helped shape the
modern world. More than 100 paintings, prints and photographs
from 64 museums and private collections will be on view and we think the
exhibition will be of interest not only to art lovers, but railroad fans
as well. If interested, I can send you another email with the press
release attached and also an e-poster you can print out for use on
bulletin boards, etc. In conjunction with the exhibition, a 288-page
book has been produced titled: "The Railway: Art in the Age of Steam"
that is now available on Amazon.com

Yours,
