Subject: Spring Clean Up Day Set

   Saturday, April 17th 2004 has been set for the Spring Clean Up Day a
the Illinois Central Depot in Mattoon, Illinois.  Clean up days involve
volunteers working (depending upon your point of view) at the depot on
various projects.  These projects can range from cleaning to repairing
damage to cataloging items to installing new locks.  Volunteers are
allowed to choose which of the days projects that they wish to work on
and the necessary tools will be on hand.  Snacks and drinks are
provided.  All help is appreciated and one does not have to stay for
the whole clean up.  Start time is 10:00am and normally ends at 2:00pm
with breaks often centered around passing trains.  Directions to the
