Re: (rshsdepot) MKT Depots and platforms



Jay,
According to my book of MKT Standard Plans, all of the "track side"
platforms are at one level. This is the level of the passenger platform. The
only platform that is shown higher, is the freight end and road side
platforms. This would make it easier to load freight onto trucks and wagons.
The freight door on the trackside of the station is higher than the walk
through passenger door. This would make loading onto the REA cart easy.
