(rshsdepot) MKT Depots and platforms

I am working on an MKT Depot restoration and needs some expert advice
regarding the rail platforms. Here is the scoop:

Historic maps of the depot show it had a platform all the way around the
building.
The Depot itself has low passenger doors and a low baggage door, and five
high freight doors.
Would it have been more typical for the platform to be one level - all low
at the same height as the passenger and baggage doors and with freight
carried from cars to the depot with a hand cart
- - or -
would the platform have been two levels with the freight platform being the
same height as the floor of the freight rail cars?

For reference, this is the Itasca, TX Depot.
