(rshsdepot) "Another Paper Enterprise"

OK, so I was at Queensborough Library in Jamaica..

Other than a good Jamaica meatloaf patty I found very little
today..without an index for the Eagle I have to find a better way to do
this research....

I found the following which has no relation to Brooklyn....which makes
sense since the newspaper was one for Queens County and Long Island.

The Long Island Farmer for January 20, 1893:

Another Paper Enterprise

The Westchester and Long Island Tunnel Railroad Company has been
incorporated to construct a tunnel railroad of standard gauge from the
town of Westchester under Long Island Sound to College Point, a distance
of two miles.

[following was a list of directors involved with the project]

Not even a map, so that is all I have to report today.

I did copy the schedules from the ads in Eagle in January 1893 for the 4
railroads to Coney Island...found article on Corbin buying the PP^CI but
when it said the deal was similar to the article from a few weeks
earlier in the paper and I thought I had seen those days, well, I must
think of a better strategy for this maybe...
