Paroid as a roofing material sounds more like a station on Alpha Centauri..
"Paroid" is also a song by the alternative rock band Garbage.

We are restoring the L&HR freight house in Allamuchy, NJ. Two questions
for the list:
1. Does anyone have a list of the codes used in the 1918 ICC Railroad
Valuations?
2. The ICC report says the roof is made of paroid. Does anyone have any
idea what paroid is?
