Wonder how many commuters could be attracted to a revitalized Carlton 
Hill station?  It's too long a walk to the Rutherford station, and the 
buses in the area go via the Lincoln Tunnel and its wonderful traffic 
congestion.  If the issue of overnight storage could be solved (the E-L 
ran trainsets back to Hoboken each night and from Hoboken in the 
morning), a single track to just east of the old Carlton Hill station 
might work.  After all, there are all those condos where Royce Chemical 
once was.
