It seems so. Came back from Texas in 2005 when I retired. As my wife is from Alabama, I guess we'll be staying here. Found a nice house with a basement (rare in AL) and have been trying to work on a layout modeling Hoboken to Suffern (my old stomping grounds), but has been much slower than expected since I have been working two PT jobs since coming back. My wife retired the end of last year, so now there are more things that she wants to do, not related to railroading.
