Re: (erielack) South Paterson

Remember the abandoned DLW Paterson Station around Garrett Mountain. Stood there for decades until NJ DOT came to an agreement to finish Route 21 into Route I-80.

Connection had been in service in late 60's or every time I rode what would be even today the Boonton Line into the Newark Branch and connect with the Erie Main from Hoboken.
The 2 or 3 tracked Newark Branch Station is still intact at south end of the Paterson Station often referred as "Lower Level".

1963. Typo?

I moved to NJ in June, 1969, and the Boonton Line had already been rerouted.
