Okay, that's fine.  However, I would say that makes the job a lot
more time-consuming.  I would estimate, based on my experience
with going through the consists to pull out all the Srn Tier cars,
that somewhere between 10% to 20% of the records have an 
error of some sort.  A good number of those are car type.  I took
a few weeks and double-checked all the freight cars I found
against the 1/76 Official Railway Equipment Register.

I lean towards the note useful. The quicker way will cause problems in the long 
run with persistent errors. Better to get answers now while its still possible. 
Mush easier than being an archeologist after it has passed beyond living memory.
