(erielack) Borden's Milk Station, Watertown



It appears that all the rail joints are bolted with the bolt heads on 
the outside of the rail and the nuts on the inside, instead of 
alternating directions.  Was this a common practice at the time? Any 
ideas as to when the alternating pattern began to be used?
