Re:Re:Re: (erielack) Del Water Gap view

Pat and anybody else --

#61 looks south to the Paulinskill Viaduct, as previously mentioned. This is downriver; PA on the right, NJ across the river on the left.

#s 62, 63, and 64 are different exposures of one scene: looking south down on Slateford Junction, with the Cut-off Viaduct prominent. They show just one track crossing the river. Will that help date the pix?

#s 65 and 67 look north from the NJ side at PA across the river. The station and large hotels are, I guess, in Delaware Water Gap, PA.

Belvidere, NJ, being about 10 miles south, does not appear in any of the pictures.

Randy and all,

If you note the picture number, and drop me a line, I will be happy to incorporate any comments into the records I have for the images (make sure you note the image name, i.e., E0044). Perhaps using the collective knowledge of this group, we can open up information and make it available for the railfans and historians of the future. The box for the Delaware Water Gap images was marked "Aerials" so I assumed they were aerials, I stand corrected.

I did not notice the "Coke" sign on the covered bridge either. I will try to add additional information, what they call metadata, to as many of these images as I can.
