(erielack) October calendar images

October 1, time to turn the calendar!

The ELHS October calendar image features a neat lineup of several RS2 and
RS3 units - the most EL RS-units I've seen at one location that wasn't a
deadline! They all have their workaday coating of road dirt and grime, and
I'm assuming they're parked for a holiday, ready to resume their yard
switching and local service once the crews return. Barely visible at the
right is the iconic Erie coaling tower, and the Meadville diesel shop can be
seen in the distance.

The Weekend Chief calendar image has a rarely-seen view of the EL crossing
underneath the PRR at Secaucus (the location of today's "Secaucus Junction"
station). The catenary supports that can be seen at the right were for the
DL&W's tri-power units (3501 and 3502) to go between Secaucus Yard and
Hoboken using electric. Neat view!
