(erielack) BR&P Rwy in Color--Volume 4 Partners & Connections

I just received my copy of the above Morning Sun book by Mike Zollitsch.

Mike has outdone himself with this volume. The book--as stated in the
title---covers the partners and connections with the BR&P. That results in
about 40 pages dedicated to the Erie RR in Buffalo, Hornell, Salamanca and
the Bradford Division. The photos date from the 1940s with Berkshires
arriving at Salamanca, a Mike working the yard at Salamanca, an Erie steam M of W
crane, new Erie Alco S2 #504 switching passenger cars at Salamanca, and
many, many more area photos.

There are photos of the Centennial Train, Baldwin road-switchers working to
and from Brockway, photos of Kinzua Bridge in the '50s, and much more.

Some of the non-Erie features cover the track arrangement of the PRR--B&O
diamond at Machias, NY that was frequently used as an Erie detour route
when problems arose between Olean and Salamanca. The book also covers the P&S
and PS&N, B&S, NYC, P&W (B&O), G&W and much more.

Without a doubt, a fine addition to an Erie fan's bookshelf.
