Good point, Ed -- the line ended in 1954.
Railroads using Dearborn in 1957 were:
AT&SF
C&EI
C&WI
Erie
Grand Trunk
Monon
Wabash
As far as I know, none would take a sleeper from PRR and run it to Chicago, when PRR could do it faster themselves. On the other hand, Pullman sleepers could and did run anywhere for anyone, if there was a demand. Maybe it was a leased car that came west on Erie.

A question regarding the alleged PRR Sleepter on the track with EL equipment. I don't think it was laying over for an ATSF connection in the 1960s. Were there any trains that connected with PRR that had through passenger equipment coming off a PRR connection that terminated at Dearborn? There probably was back then.
