RE: (erielack) Interline Switching
Steve,
Wow! More fantastic stuff!!! This is so cool! I can use this form in my operating sessions!
I suppose that form ST-19 was something that the station agent at Bath, NY, would have to fill out every day (or at least the days that freight cars were interchanged with the B&H)?
Anybody out there know what Station No. Bath was?
This is what I love about prototype research, especially with this list. Every now and then you uncover another little golden nugget of information. It's like fitting another piece into a really big puzzle and you don't even know what the whole picture looks like.
Thanks, Steve!

Is there a list of short lines that had this sort of arrangement with the EL?
I'm assuming that a "really short" line that was captive to the EL, such as the
> Bath & Hammondsport, would have such an arrangement.

While I can't speak to the specific arrangements these shortlines had with the
EL, I have an EL document, Form ST-19, which is a "Daily Report of Cars
Delivered or Unloaded to Dependent Shortline". I scanned and attached the front
and back. The back side lists those dependent shortlines, including the Hoboken
> Shore which came up when I scanned the interline waybills a couple weeks ago.
