(erielack) Fire Damaged Cars

I'll just throw this out to the list for any comments; maybe someone has
some information. Thanks.
Lackawanna 'Phoebe' coach 322 was the only one not relettered and
renumbered into E-L. The car burned and was later stored in Susquehanna
until it was hauled away in the 'Hospital Extra' of passenger equipment
taken to Meadville for scrapping (10-03-64). Since E-L made it a
priority to have the streamlined coaches relettered after the merger
(completed by 5-61), 322 had to have been burned sometime within the
first eight months. I'm wondering what happened to this car.
Lackawanna Diner 469 (EL 769) eventually was sold to Amtrak where it was
repainted, but never used. They discovered fire damage to the frame
(although that never stopped EL from using the car). So what happened
to cause the fire damage?
One possibility might be the wreck of #E-5 at Galion (2-09-61), the
train that hit the egg truck. Bottled gas from the derailed diner
exploded (maybe that burned the underframe if it was 469/769). The car
ahead of the diner could have been a coach (322?) A woman in that car
was thrown through the window and fatally burned. In all 80 people were
injured.
Does anyone have the accident report for this wreck? (Would the report
list specific car numbers?)
