Randy, I believe the original question was about whether there was milk 
traffic in NE in 1970. By and large, as on EL, it died out during the early 
to mid 60's and was "long gone" by 1970. You can find an exception to just 
about anything. EL itself was handling milk in 1973-74, albeit the canned 
evaporated variety. This is akin to someone observing the Reader RR in 1970 
and saying steam is still active on US RR's. Technically correct, but it 
would give the wrong impression to someone not familiar with the industry. 
So yes, I am surprised that B&M evidently was handling fresh milk out of 
Eagle Bridge at least into the late 60's, and I'm glad you shared this with 
us; it helps put EL's milk traffic holdouts in context . But I think the 
"gotcha" tone is not in keeping with the generally positive atmosphere of 
this List.
