Without Getting Too much into Detail in regaurd to Passenger Trains becoming a ward of the State..Plain and Simple The politicains did it to us AND To Themselves....  Its no doubt in my mind if the Postal system had not killed mail services 42 years ago the EL Phoebe and Lake Cities  would have been around Years longer as REA and Mail would have paid the bills
