This is the DL&W Anthracite Terminal in Hoboken in 1882.

DL&W Coal Co piers are the three in the middle; on the left in the main 
picture (right in the inset) is the pier used mainly by the NYS&W;  the pier 
on the other end is devoted to the other independent coal operators.
