Have to wonder if it could also be argued that not having the EL around
contributed to the decline of these cities. Certainly Scranton/Wilkes Barre
has been off the major railroad map for a long time, at least compared to
other major PA cities.
Then again according to the article practically all of Ohio is dying, so...
who knows.
