RE: (erielack) lanterns

I have lamp oil from Wal Mart and it works very well.  A tad bit smelly but
works great.

I have an old DL&W lantern and an LV torch.  Would today's lamp oil 
work ok in either?  Or should I stick with the original kerosene?
