List,

Attached is a photo from the late 40's of the Buffalo Creek (half owned by Erie & LV) delivering some commodity (in numerous boxcars) and using Ganson Street as a team track. This entire area served by the Buffalo Creek was crowded with tracks and industries, one on top of another.

Pat McKnight should take note because the Erie contract for unloading freight he just sent me was for the freighthouse in the background, owned by the B&O (BR&P). An independent contractor apparently leased space in the freighthouse and was under contract with the Erie to load/unload their cars there.

Also attached is a photo of the team tracks at the DL&W Terminal in Buffalo. They had a little accident kicking that boxcar in. In the background is a large load just placed on a lowbed truck trailer. All the major terminals in Buffalo had overhead cranes at their team tracks for unloading heavy freight from gons and flats.
