Thanks to all who responded.  I pick the Teamsters with horse and wagons as
the most possible.

Teams of horses pulled wagons up to the train to transfer cargo. 

Also related: teamster, who drove the team of horses.  The Teamsters'

Union logo displays horse heads; now you know why.

 

I believe that it is something along the lines of backing up your wagon with
a TEAM of horses to a boxcar to get the goods.

 

Team tracks were also called TOWN Tracks.
