The drunks never completed the Alleged Test East, To Hoboken. After having them large 40 oz cans it was Too late to return so went West to Harrisburg to release the Load.

That wasn't a cab car, it was Amtrak's inspection/observation car. Take a
peek in Bob Yanosey's "Trackside around NJ" book - there's a good photo of
Bob and lister Bill Herkner standing in front of this test train. This trip
FAR predated Amtrak's use of cab cars!
