As a local Binghamtonian, I NEVER heard any body call that road Snake CREEK Road.  It was Snake
Crick.  "Crick" was pretty much the common pronunciation for that word around there.

I believe also that the Snake Crick valley was the projected route of the never-built interurban
from Montrose to Binghamton.
