Though it's almost impossible to tell, given how the landscape has
changed, any guesses where this might be?
Note the broad curve, where in the vicinity of Millburn/Short Hills is
there a curve like this?
How about those tracks off to the right? Could this be looking eastbound
from just east of Summit, and those tracks are the Rahway Valley RR
under construction? Just out of the photo on the right is about where
the RRVRR station could have been. But then, the tracks seem to be going
under the main track right about where the pile driver is working on the
bridge. Are they temporary?
Or, it could be Millburn-there's a curve like that there. But then, what
are the tracks?
What are those box-like things on the poles at the ends of the bridge
railings?
