Re: (erielack) NY-98 spotting feature



Most likely both places. I'm not familiar with that Seatrain facility, but
I'm guessing that it handled west coast boxes, while the ones handled at
Portside were destined for Europe via an Atlantic Xing. I've always wondered
about Seatrain Lines, a large American Flag carrier that disappeared
somewhere around 1980, either went oob or more likely was merged into
another shipping line. Is anyone familiar with that company?

off-line post that Seatrain had a facility along the Northern just north of
Croxton, and that's possibly where these cars were going?
