You do have a point. However as a practical matter, I offered to send it to
my old pal Joshua, which arguably falls under the "reproduction for personal
use" description. I didn't offer to distribute it to the entire list, which
would definitely be a no-no. On the other hand, in the process I did give KP
some free advertising, so I don't think they'd lose any sleep over this.
Some things are illegal in a strictly nominal sense; for example for many
years in several states, fellatio was illegal, but I don't recall hearing of
anyone going to jail for this.
