I recall reading about another derailment that spilled pigs on the ground,
this one on the Greenwood Lake line around 1974 and the pigs had wheels.
Let's not be too hard on the reporter; she reports on what's discussed, and
most likely had a copy deadline and didn't have time to research even if she
was so inclined.

A few residents remembered when the train derailed and spilled a bunch of
frozen pigs on the ground.

"I still remember those pigs," said Glenn Wershing, vice president of the
Green Township Historical Society. "They were beautiful. Nice and white."
