(erielack) Newspaper article of interest

For those interested, The Elmira Star Gazette ran an article on Sunday about the Ashland (NY) Historical Society, who are restoring the former Elmira, Corning & Waverly trolley substation  located in the town of Ashland, near Elmira. 
 
The Chemung Valley Railway Historical Society is finalizing a deal to move its museum/display to this site, including the Erie Stillwell car and Erie Camp car acquired from Binghamton. 
 
The status of the DL&W "Route of Phoebe Snow" boxcar and Erie boxcar in Elmira is still pending, and I will keep everyone posted as to developents. A link to the newspaper article should be as follows:
