This is most definitely an EL car. If you look carefully towards the center of the carbody, you can see the "L" in "LACKAWANNA" (and part of the CK as well)

It looks like some enterprising shop person repainted the EL logo (the "EL" portion of the logo is a little slip-shod, IMHO)
