Re: (erielack) RE: Conrail TV-77 with EL unit

These two trains often flip flopped on which side they ran depending on
which side did not have a derailment or had enough crews to run the train. I
remember one October day going to visit an aunt who lived in the Scranton
area. I went by the tower in East Stroudsburg and asked the tower operator
if anything was in the area, and sure enough he said TV98 was due in about
20 minutes. So I figured I would just hang out for awhile. Just about 20
minutes later 4 EMD's of mixed heritage rolled by with about 60 TTX cars. On
the hind end was C354. Well that was all I had time for and had to continue
my trip . TV77 often ran the Erie side in the early Conrail days. I do have
a picture of TV77 with a LV U23B leading a couple of other units across
Starrucca Viaduct back right after Conrail.
